Raked stones in the Zen tradition, the Japanese garden at the Canadian Museum of History is a living piece owing to the central tree (not shown) and the rock and small stone/gravel placement. I'd like to retur in summer when things are greener, but this might fit with a b&w photo-set of images taken nearby, look for it, and if you need a fix of calm when at the museum, or if in the area, drop by for a sit (just don't walk into the gravel bed). I marked the exact spot to look for at the museum, on the map below.
