The concept; why not get some local imagery on our walls, helping us feel connected to where we live. If you do like an image, think about purchasing a high-resolution copy suitable for printing/framing.
Although it's called Ottawaplaces, you might see other types of photos here. That could be within Ottawa, Gatineau, the Ottawa Valley and beyond. Country theme, city theme, landscape, abstract, or other.
Every photo also has learning info attached, i.e. a map if applies, and all the camera settings, along with notes. So you can go create that image yourself if you like. If you are still in need of help to create that shot, let me know!
If you like the idea of capturing the unique elements of our neighbourhoods, nearby towns, and cities -- I can set it up for you to post and have a profile page.
I can do a photoshoot with you at one of our locations or a location of your choice. You can always mix in a few other images from the site, for example, to create a set of three wall worthy images. If you are after fine-art quality I work with a chosen fine art printer locally to get it done for you.
I've taken a number of courses at SPAO (School of Photographic Arts Ottawa) and I hope to keep progressing so if I do a photoshoot for you, it's by donation! I use both SONY (full frame/mirrorless) and NIKON (DLSR) and I will adjust your photo in photoshop or lightroom afterwards.
