Not too far from Almonte, half-way to Pakenham, is Blakeny. Known for it's rapids and it's one lane bridge (being replaced ). Long ago -- it had mills, a brewery, and all the other small village goings on. In Spring, you can get some great photos. In this case, I did not blur the water, as I did for others. For cyclists, you can follow the rail trail 10km from Pakenham to this location, then, return.
