Since 1934 the Prescott Hotel (which was actually once a hotel) has served beer and Italian food. And it still does. Quite a legacy, and well known as a sports bar. As were the times, there was a ladies and escort section (slightly fancier) and a mens section. Now a very popular neighbourhood and central, it was once a very busy place on a Friday with the working men, and the waiters there made a career out of serving quarts. It's gentrified now, but still popular with groups, sports fans, skaters, and just about anyone who loves a good meatball sandwhich! Pizza to die for there (square). Yum.
