Standing up on the ledge to get a sunset shot without the crowds, this is the best I could do tonight. But I'll be back -- and -- full marks to the NCC for recent projects.
Near: Ottawa (Byward-Market)
Go: Just google Kiweki Point, there are other photo opportunities here, but the crowds had me thinking -- I'll return another time when less busy. You are basically getting to what used to be called Majors Hill Park -- and it has a pathway from the Tavern on the Hill (new suspended walking bridge -- also worth a photo session) and generally in behind the Chateau Laurier along the park to the river.
