It was a windy day, as you can see in the strip of water beyond the windmill (the Ottawa river). The pair (of trees or .. ?) in this image seem to be keeping each other company, looking out over the water. I marked the spot where I took the picture in the map below. Realized only later that I had naturally followed the rule of thirds. It's nice when a practice becomes natural, but rules are meant to be broken also.
