This is a unique destination not so far from Ottawa, up from Dacre to Balaclava, this old saw mill has quite the history in the Ottawa Valley and has been allowed to remain, albeit deteriorating each year. I took this shot in 2024 so that's fairly current. Lots of history in this area, if heading to Renfrew and then HWY 132 heading perhaps through Denbigh and on to Bancroft or beyond, take a small side trip from Dacre over to this mill, just a few KM from Dacre.
